Here is just a bit about me:
I am originally from Port Huron, Michigan (The "Blue Water Area") and at a very early age developed a deep love for the Great Lakes. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Social Studies teaching degree and have been lucky enough to teach at BHS since the 2006-2007 school year. AT BHS, I have mainly taught AP U.S. Government & Politics and AP World History but also many other core and elective classes such as Civics, Economics, World History & Geography, Wars, and Practical Law. Outside of the classroom I have coached Varsity Football, Varsity Boys Track, Middle School Track, Quiz Bowl, and even one season of Freshman Girls Basketball. Now that I no longer coach, I always try to chaperone the dances and/or school trips to stay connected to the students. When I'm not teaching, I most enjoy spending time with my family (wife of 17 years and four kiddos) on our beautiful state but especially in the Straits of Mackinac.Â
My happy place!!!
