Steps to trust a tablet to the brain4care system
Access the brain4care web portal on a desktop computer/phone/tablet OTHER THAN the device you are making trusted.
Enter your healthcare manager credentials (username and password)
NOTE: you must be registered as an Account Manager on your facility’s account to make a device trusted.
From the main portal dashboard, navigate to Device Management
On the top right corner click the Register device button and choose the “Trusted” status from the drop down menu.
Step 1 - From the dropdown menu, select "Member's year of birth" as a PIN Policy.
Step 2 - “Require to change after first access” box, is an option you should verify with your IT team. Continue with “Confirm”.
Step 3 - On next screen click “Generate QR Code”
Step 4 - A QR code will be generated along with a text-code. This should be scanned with the device you want to TRUST.
NOTE: The next steps (4-5) MUST be completed within 180 seconds, for security purposes. A countdown is provided.
On the device you wish to make trusted (tablet, phone, or workstation), open the brain4care app.
Step 1 - Tap “Register device” at the bottom of the login screen.
Step 2 - On the next screen tap “Register”
Step 3 - Next, tap the black QR code to the right of the text box that says “Code”.
Step 4 - Using the camera on the device you wish to be trusted, scan the QR code that was generated in Step 3.
NOTE: You can also enter the text-code manually in the text box that says “Code” if the camera is inaccessible.
Step 5 - Tap “Confirm”
Step 6 - Tap “Login”. Your device is now trusted!
The trusted device login screen lists all users for that corporate account.
Click on the word “refresh” hyperlink to update the user list of your name is not there.
If this does not work you'll need to ask your corporate account manager to include you as a user.
