Support Plan


Student-driven tech support teams will be established at all school levels. Interested students will go through an application process for selection. School-based Tech Teams will be the first line of support by providing students and teachers with basic troubleshooting support. Student tech teams will complete initial tech support training and work collaboratively throughout the year to problem solve issues, create tutorials for common tech requests, and complete routine maintenance on devices.


Technology Support Methods:

  • In-Person

  • Technology Ticketing System with One-to-One Plus


School-based Technology Teams:

  • Elementary: Schools appoint a faculty facilitator to guide their team. Facilitators should have a strong instructional vision for classroom technology, have a flexible schedule for regularly meeting with the team, and be comfortable with student-driven environments.


  • Secondary: Networking systems focus areas may offer IT Clinical Internships/Work-Based Learning for the tech team. The tech teams will provide live help desk support for the district via Zoom. Secondary level tech team members will also be utilized for training and mentoring elementary tech teams.
