Elective disciplines are disciplines introduced by a higher education institution to better meet the educational and qualification requirements of a person, for the needs of society, to more effectively use the capabilities of the educational institution, to take into account regional characteristics, etc.
Elective professional training disciplines provide an opportunity for in-depth training in a specialty that determines the nature of future activities; promote academic mobility of students and their personal interests, allow for the introduction of specializations within the basic specialty in the future in order to form the competence of the applicant in accordance with the requirements of the labor market.
Disciplines of the student's free choice make up 25% of the total number of credits in the student's individual curriculum.
Before choosing a course, students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the curriculum and work programs, course outlines, and information about the teachers.
