In its commitment to quality service, the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) developed its Quality Management System that defines the policies and procedures for the effective implementation and continual improvement of the BPSU's services and to remain abreast of the increasing demands of its stakeholders and the requirements of the International Standards, ISO 9001:2015. 

Over the years, the university's commitment to excellence has been evident in its compliance to its QMS specifically in the conduct of Internal Quality Audit across all campuses and offices. This is to ensure that the entire university is dedicated and committed to:

Be responsive to the needs of its clients;

Perform the services we pledged to do;

Service the public with promptness, courtesy and efficiency; and

Undertake measures to address all complaints and put matters right.


In 2024, Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) has achieved a significant milestone by securing the ISO 9001:2015 recertification from TUV Rheinland, a globally recognized certification body. This achievement underscores BPSU’s commitment to maintaining high standards of quality management and continuous improvement in its educational services. The ISO 9001:2015 standard is an internationally recognized framework for quality management systems (QMS), emphasizing customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and continual enhancement. 

In order to verify if the university processes and procedures are still in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standards, external auditors from TÜV Rheinland were invited to conduct the External Recertification Audit. This recertification audit ran for four (4) days from February 26-29, 2024 across all BPSU campuses. 

External recertification audits provide objective evaluation of the organization’s processes, procedures, and overall performance. Subjecting itself to external audit is a manifestation of the University’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and adherence to industry standards. By undergoing external audit, the University is given the opportunity to identify areas for enhancement, mitigate risks, and enhance its reputation and credibility with stakeholders, customers, and regulatory bodies.
