Courses are also available in Spanish, presented in collaboration with HUNE.

FAMILIES TO THE MAX invites you to learn and share about the core foundational concepts to our mission of supporting children with disabilities in school, at home, and in the community.
Each Course is presented on a Wednesday at 12 pm and Thursday at 7 pm, with different presenters and perspectives each time. Feel free to attend as many you'd like, including duplicates! We always learn something new from one another--including our audience!
- Presuming Competence: Fostering High Expectations (1/7 at 12 pm & 1/8 at 7 pm)
- Access to the Gen Ed Curriculum Across All Settings (2/4 at 12 pm & 2/5 at 7 pm)
- Maximizing Communication & Learning for Your Child (3/4 at 12 pm & 3/5 at 7 pm)
- Collaborating on School Teams in Ways That Make a Difference (4/1 at 12 pm & 4/2 at 7 pm)
- Leading Change (5/6 at 12 pm & 5/7 at 7 pm)
We will be holding Virtual Villages on the 2nd Saturday of each month, as well. Virtual Villages are a great place to meet our families, ask questions, network, and build a village!

Join us for a virtual Parent/Caregiver information session to learn how OVR can help support your transition age student.
Presentation includes information on the OVR process, services, and programs for students and adults.
Sessions will be virtual and provided via Microsoft Teams.

CCAC NORTH CAMPUS

Career Bound is a one-day program featuring CCAC North Campus’ vocational training programs with a focus on disability services. This event is for students with disabilities in grades 9-12+ attending high school in Allegheny County.
Students will experience interactive activities exploring four of the vocational training programs offered and tour the CCAC North Campus.
Lunch will NOT be provided.
Deloitte Day Of Mentoring
April 14, 2026
Deloitte is a leading project management company with offices in Pittsburgh specializing in creating sandbox environments for professional client record keeping. Students will have an opportunity to learn about career opportunities with Deloitte and participate in Mock Interview sessions.
This event is limited to students in 11th and 12th grade that have a SIGNIFICANT EXPRESSED INTEREST in working in software development as there is limited registration across the county.
Lunch is provided for this event.
Duquesne University - March 18, 2026 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
Students will have an opportunity to tour Duquesne University's urban campus and learn about student life focusing on services for students with disabilities.
