Students have the opportunity to participate in OVR Early reach presentations in grades 9-12+. These presentations focus on skills for living independently: work skills for life, self-advocacy, budgeting, career clusters, OVR 101, and many more topics.
OVR Early Reach also offers:
University for a Day
One‐day in‐person program featuring a local university in Allegheny County. 9:00‐1:00 PM. Event to feature presentations from admissions, disability services, career services along with an on‐campus tour. Possible student panel included.
CollegeBound
One‐day program featuring a local community college. Event will feature presentations from admissions, support, and career services. On‐campus tour included, along with possible student panel.
CareerBound
One‐day program featuring CCAC North Campus. Students will experience interactive activities exploring four vocational training programs offered at the north campus.
OVR Early Reach Presentations will be offered during the following LEAD sessions for the 2025-2026 school year:
Sept. 10, 2025- OVR 101
February 11, 2026- Workplace Readiness Skills
April 8, 2026- High School vs College/Post-Secondary
