West Show Choir

Welcome to Show Choir!

What's it all about?

West Show Choir is an honors choir comprised of both 7th & 8th grade students, selected by an audition-only process. This ensemble runs as an extracurricular activity, rehearsing one evening a week, with a few sectional opportunities during our 10th period club period. Show Choir students work at an elevated pace and intensity to to learn an additional repertoire of songs (beyond what they are learning in chorus class) at a more challenging level of musicality.

While our West Show Choir performs at both our Winter and Spring concerts, we also include a number of additional performances throughout the school year, ranging from a Veteran's Day concert, to the annual Music League Chicken Dinner, to singing the National Anthem at the Reading Phillies stadium. These performances are always open to the public, and will appear on our West Choirs Calendar for anyone interested in attending.
