New Hire Checklist

Our district uses an online records management system which will enable you to easily complete most of your new hire documentation from home. By now you should have received an email notification instructing you to complete the assigned documents via TalentEd Records. Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI - Background Check)

Effective dates refer to the date you will become an active employee of BPS and when your pay period begins. Your start date is the day you report to work.

Please refer to the following effective dates:

8/31/19 for Teachers and 12-month paraprofessionals
9/1/19 for BASAS, Guild
7/1/19 for Managerial, HMP (unless appointed later)
9/3/19 for 10-month paraprofessionals
9/5/19 for Lunch Monitors, Substitute Teachers, Cluster Substitutes
7/20/19 for Teachers/Paraprofessionals at the Dever and UP Academies
