Food Policy
Food Policy
At the Murphy School, we try to promote healthy living and eating; therefore, we have a strict food policy. For birthdays and celebrations, we ask families to bring in healthy snacks to chair or kid-friendly treats instead of cake. In the past, families have brought in fruit, pencils, erasers, and stickers to share with the class as a birthday celebration.
In Room 102, we also have a student with a peanut allergy and another student with a nut, soy, and egg allergy... so our classroom is NUT FREE. Thank you!

We have 18 students in our classroom. Any treats or cards should be gender-neutral to respect students' differences. However, if you prefer to have gendered treats, we have 9 boys in the class and 9 girls.
