Here are some websites that we use in school that can also be used at home:
Get Epic! Reading
Epic! is the Leading Digital Library for Kids 12 & Under. Instantly access 35,000 of the best books, learning videos, quizzes & more.
Students have their own logins and do not need a password. Just enter in the class code.

This school website gives all K-12 students access to assessments, literacy and math programs, as well as some extracurricular activities. It is important for students to know how to use this website, especially in upper grades.
Your child will need to log in using his/her BPS email address and password.
This website has popular English-language books translated into Spanish by native Spanish speakers. Some books also have videos to go along with them. The website also provides some Spanish lessons.
This website allows students to learn literacy and math skills. Some materials are available for free, but a paid membership will grant you access to more.
This website has different math and literacy activities for children of all ages PreK-5.

This website provides a kid-safe ad free streaming library of read-aloud, animated storybooks. It is perfect for bedtime stories or for many children to listen to at the same time.

Use this website to learn how to type faster- a VERY important skill for MCAS, PARCC, and future assessments.
This is a free website that provides videos of books read aloud.
Instead of having your child "google" information, have them use Kiddle. Kiddle will censor and remove inappropriate content and is safe for young children.
