About Me

Ms. Stefanie Poland, Room 102

Hello! My name is Stefanie Poland.

I am 34 years old and was born and raised in Dorchester, MA. I currently live with my husband, my daughter, and my mom. My daughter, Londynn, is in the second grade at the Kenny Elementary School. We also have a cat named Lily. I enjoy eating chocolate, dancing like no one is watching, and putting on loud music! One interesting fact about me is that I have a twin brother!

Education & Teaching experience

I graduated with my BA in English from UMass Boston in 2011. My daughter was born in 2013, and I completed my MA in English in 2017. I just recently completed the BPS Pathways Program to get a license in Moderate Disabilities for K-8. I was the classroom teacher for ESY at the Murphy for summer 2018 and 2019. This is my fourth year at the Murphy School and my third year in first grade with Ms. Miranda.
