Boston Public Schools (BPS) has partnered with ParentSquare, a multilingual communication platform, to make it easier for families to connect with the district, schools, and teachers. The district started using ParentSquare in August 2024 to simplify communication and encourage greater family involvement.

With ParentSquare, communication will be easy and all in one place!

 You can:

• Get important school and class updates directly

• Share and receive pictures and files

• Keep track of school events with a central calendar

• Sign up for volunteer opportunities easily

• Schedule meetings with teachers

• You can customize your notifications to receive messages instantly or as a daily summary via email, text, or the app. 

The platform has a simple mobile app that works on both iPhone and Android devices. This makes it easy to find information whenever you need it, no matter where you are. It also translates messages into your language so you can understand them better.
