About the Office of School Support & Transformation

The Office of School Support and Transformation includes the Office of Elementary and Middle Schools and Office of Secondary Schools, as well as several central office support departments: Data and Accountability, Expanded Learning, Transformation and Turnaround, and Teacher Leadership. OSST works to coordinate school supports in the new BPS organization to ensure that all schools receive the services they need to be successful. In addition to school support, OSST also works on several initiatives, such as planning BPS improvements to better serve youth off-track to graduate from high school.

Session Description: The Instructional Coherence and School Support session will outline the ways that central office will be organized around the concept that the school is the unit of change. This will touch on how ALI will launch school planning with the QSP, and how planning will continue from there: with central office staff working in partnership with school leaders to base central supports on school priorities and plans.
