We are so fortunate to celebrate so many different cultures at the Adams School. Thank you for engaging in Culture Day! The outfits, the items and the representation of the various heritage from our community makes us all proud! Next week’s Fun Friday will be Superhero Day! Students can come as their favorite superhero or they can even make up their own!
Next week we will begin MCAS testing in grades 3-6. Students should go to bed early, eat a healthy breakfast and be ready to show off their skills. Students who are remote will take the assessment remotely. They MUST keep their cameras on at all times. Letters will be sent via mail and email regarding the regulations. Please reach out to Ms. Cruz if you have any questions.
Our next Equity Round Table will be held on Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:00. During this time, we will discuss our plans for next year with the Department of Education Kaleidoscope Network as well as begin sharing information regarding the ESSR Funds (Elementary and Secondary School Relief) and how we can use these funds to create more opportunities for our students. Help us ensure that our focus will always be on equity!
Students in grade 6 will celebrate the end of their time at the Adams on Wednesday, June 16th at 10 am. (Rain date June 17th). The ceremony will be held OUTSIDE at Piers Park. More information to come.
