UPDATES AND INFORMATION
This week our preschool classes celebrated their love of reading by participating in many school spirit activities. The Preschool Team would like to thank the Boonton PTA for donating books for our preschoolers. The children were very excited to receive new books and to take them home to keep. Please continue to support our PTA. The Preschool Literacy Night will be the perfect event to close Read Across America Week.
As you might be aware, If your child will be 5 years old by October 1, 2023, and is currently enrolled in our preschool program, you DO NOT need to complete the registration. However, please note that an updated Universal Health Record (September 2022-September 2023) is needed as well as immunization records. Please send these forms to your child's nurse.

This week we continued with our restaurant theme. We learned how to properly set a table, how to use our best manners at a restaurant, and practiced taking and delivering orders for customers. We read lots of restaurant-themed books for our story labs such as Caillou at a Fancy Restaurant, I Want to be Chef, and Froggy Eats Out. We also talked about all of the restaurants that we know and love and used environmental print to recreate familiar restaurants in our block area. For our small groups, we matched restaurant-themed items to their initial letter sounds and also counted these items and matched them to the numerals. During graphics practice, we made plates with meatballs and also pizza pies with toppings! We are having a blast with our new theme and are looking forward to starting some St. Patrick's Day fun for the month of March!
