GE Next Engineers Academy Program
Applications for the GE Next Engineers Academy Program are now open for all eligible 10th grade students in the 25-26 school year. Are you a 10th grader or do you know someone in 10th grade? Do you want the chance to think and act like an engineer? Apply to be in the Engineering Academy. Over two years, students learn engineering skills and prepare for college. With over 180 hours over 2 years outside of school, the Academy includes a series of immersive design challenges, career coaching, and college-readiness workshops to equip youth with the skills they need to build an engineering career. All Next Engineers: Engineering Academy Cincinnati graduates who enroll in an engineering degree program at an institution of higher education are eligible to receive a $16K scholarship! Applications are due by Friday, January 23rd, 2026. You may apply online or you may apply by paper using a paper copy of the application(found on the Academy application page).
