2-Step Verification -- Google Prompts
STEP 1
Sign into Google
STEP 2
Click on the App Switcher (Waffle) and then select Account
STEP 3
Select Security on the left navigation (fourth option down)
STEP 4
Before turning on 2-Step Verification, you need to make sure that you are signed into your work account on your phone. With Android, you can find that option in the settings - accounts. On Apple, you will need to log into the google app.
STEP 5
Scroll down to the third box Signing in to Google and click on 2-Step Verification
STEP 6
If you see your device listed click continue, otherwise ensure you are signed into your phone correctly.
STEP 7
Set up a backup option for Google Prompts through text, phone call, or another secondary method.
STEP 8
Confirm changes and select Turn On
