2-Step Verification -- Authenticator App
STEP 1
Sign into Google
STEP 2
Click on the App Switcher (Waffle) and then select Account
STEP 3
Select Security on the left navigation (fourth option down)
STEP 4
Scroll down to the third box Signing in to Google and click on 2-Step Verification
STEP 5
Select Authenticator App
STEP 6
Click + Set up authenitcactor
We recommend using the Microsoft Authenticator for both google and Microsoft accounts to keep everything in one location. This application will also work offline which is great for buildings with limited cellular reception.
STEP 7
Select the + sign and select Other Account (Google, Facebook, etc.), and scan the QR code with your phone.
STEP 8
Enter the code that the APP provides on the screen below and select verify.
STEP 9
This screen will be displayed to confirm the setup.
