Ms. Deering

Hello! My name is Ms. Deering, and I'm the language arts teacher in your clan!

This is my 25th year teaching- all of those years at Bonny Eagle Middle School! I taught 8th grade for 21 years, and am now in my 5th year in grade 6! I love teaching middle school and love language arts; (reading and writing are two of my favorite things,) and I look forward to talking about books with you!  I have taught in McIntosh, Fergusson, Carnegie, Sinclair and now Cunningham! 

I am a graduate of Bonny Eagle High School, went to the University of New Hampshire for English and my Master's in Education, and came back to where it all started.  I am so happy to have spent my career at my alma mater. 

I currently live in Waterboro with my husband Don, who is a mechanic at the BE bus garage! We got married in April of 2022 in Florida. It was magical! We love spending time with our families, traveling, going to country concerts, and to our favorite beach; Fortunes Rocks.  I love all things Disney, my four nieces, my family, country music, pink sparkles and having fun while teaching. 

I love BEMS and the community that we have here. I look forward to a great 6th grade year!!
