Congratulations are in order...
Sammi Doucette, Class of 2024, was recently recognized as "Student of the Quarter" at PATHS (Portland Arts & Technology High School). Sammi is a second-year student in the New Media vocational program. Her instructor says: "Sammi has always been a hard worker and this year has been a year of solid performance. She works hard each and every day. Sammi has also developed a reputation in her class as someone who's always willing to lend helping hand and does so with the complete trust of her peers. As her teacher, I have really enjoyed watching her sense of self confidence grow to the point that when someone asks for technical help and I'm busy with another student, Sammi is always willing to step in and be a mentor. She's worked hard to develop her skills and knowledge of Adobe's Creative Cloud programs we use in New Media. She's currently working on producing her senior project which is going to be a cooking show competition (a la Gordon Ramsey) that will be produced with the help and cooperation of the Culinary Arts Program students and Chef Kim Mayone. I'm sure that regardless of who wins, Sammi's program will be an outstanding piece of work and tasty, too." (February 2024)
