Prior to the end of your first semester in the program, students must complete the Student and Advisor Agreement Form. (available on the Program's Forms page)
The student and faculty member should meet and complete the form and discussion checklist together.
The advising agreement requires the student and advisor to discuss and agree upon how the student will fund the remainder of their degree program.
The advisor submits the form, and a form confirmaion is sent to the Computing PhD email inbox for approval once the student records their digital acceptance.
Submission of the Student and Advisor Agreement form will automatically trigger a request to the advisor to submit a Funding Plan that will provide program leadership with details and funding sources that your advisor plans to utilize to financially support you as a GA through completion of your doctoral degree.
