Mr. Kubena at interview in office
Have you ever wondered what clubs you can join? Or what they are?
Club Rush is on Wednesday, Sep 10 during both lunches!
Mr. Kubena said that clubs are “Opportunities for kids with similar interests to pursue those similar interests.” E sports are normally the most popular, but there is also Art Club, Book Club, and Disc Golf -- to name just a few. Club Rush is where all the clubs gather in the small gym so students can learn about them. Students will also learn when the clubs are. It is still absolutely possible to make new clubs. Clubs meet before, during lunch, and after school so that makes them not classes. You could always talk to Club advisors for more information.
Mrs. Hagans said clubs are groups kids can be involved in outside of school, some meet during lunch, after, or before school. There are a lot of different types of clubs like board game, art, books, disc golf, f.c.a ,spanish clubs. Club rush is fun it is in the small gym and you go to the tables and talk to the members in the club to see them or and get excited for them. There are stamps on tables and if you get them all you can get a piece of candy! You can join clubs any time in the year Jan-Dec.To make a club, you have to find a friend who wants to join as well, then find an adviser, then fill out a form. Lastly, set up a meeting with the Mr. Kubena or Mrs. Hagans and talk about it. If it gets approved, then you made a club! Classes you have to take but clubs you can go to when they meet and you have time, no assignments, no teaching; student lead the club and the teacher is more like a chaperone. So check out Club Rush!
