Mayo, mustard, ketchup, and relish in shoe form!
Mrs. Lancaster and Ms. Talor were the very first people to notice Mr. Coberly’s mis- matched shoes. Her first initial reaction was that he had been up late last night and didn't get enough sleep. “He had never done anything like that before so it totally caught me off guard,” quotes Mrs. Lancaster. Some parents at back to school night seemed to notice, because one of them texted Mr. Coberly's girlfriend that he had on two different shoes. His girlfriend later then texted him saying that she had seen his shoes, and apparently he hadn't noticed until then. Mrs. Lancaster quickly took a photo of them, and sent it on the school text thread, sending the entire staff laughing. This year Mr. Coberly, Mrs.Lancaster, and Mrs. Gorringe were all in the hall, when Mrs. Lancaster got a timehop notification on her phone with the picture of Mr. Coberly's shoes. She sent a text thread message through the school, saying to wear mis-matched shoes on 8/21.

A tired teacher wears mismatched shoes and inspries a back-to-school holiday! Find out the story behind it!
Last year, Mr. Coberly, one of our resident math teachers, was on his way to Back to School Night from an appointment and put on two different shoes, but by the time he realized his mistake, he couldn’t go back to his car. He decided to do Back to School Night with two different shoes. Now this might not seem like a big deal but the year after that (This year) almost all the other teachers wore mismatched shoes!!! Now if you know Mr. Coberly, you know he's pretty chill so he felt perfectly fine about this. In fact he participated in the joke with all the other teachers. If you somehow didn’t notice, you could ask one of the teachers yourself if this mismatched shoe day really happened.
So the funny mismatched shoe day was because Mr. Coberly was tired and almost late to Back to School Night.
Group photo with 12 different shoes!
