WHAT IS THE IDAHO STEM DIPLOMA?
The Idaho STEM Diploma aims to honor graduating seniors who have pursued rigorous STEM coursework. Students who go above and beyond graduation requirements in science, technology, engineering, and math coursework are eligible for a STEM Diploma.
Students receive a STEM Diploma seal, the distinction on their transcript, and a graduation cord to recognize their achievement.
CREDITS REQUIRED
8 Math Credits
8 Science Credits
5 Additional STEM Credits: Engineering & Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Health Sciences, Select CTE Courses, Additional Math and Science. See the STEM Diploma Approved Courses for a list of courses that will count.
APPLICATION REQUIRED
If you have completed the credit requirements, you must also complete the application to be eligible.
The deadline to apply is April 9, 2027.
