Steps to request Unscheduled Period(s):
Students must complete the Unscheduled Period Request Form.
The request will be sent to your school counselor for approval.
If approved by your counselor, your parent/guardian will receive an email with the form to approve your request.
The email will come from: "documents@boiseschools.org"
Once the form is completed and parent/guardian permission is received by your school counselor, students may be removed from the request period if possible.

I understand that I must be on track for graduation to request an unscheduled period. 48 credits are required to graduate.
I understand that less than full time attendance may also negatively affect college acceptance and/or scholarship opportunities. It is advised to check with your college admissions officer(s) and/or scholarship committee(s) regarding your less than full time attendance.
I understand that if I am taking less than 12 credits, I do not qualify to use my Advanced Opportunities funding for overload courses, including AO funds I used to take summer school courses. I understand that I may be required to pay for the summer courses I took using my AO Funds if I am enrolled in less than 12 credits. I can continue to use my Fast Forward funds for dual credit courses and exams.
I understand that according to the *Idaho High School Activities Association rules. I must be enrolled full time to be eligible to participate in a sport/activity. Full-time enrollment for BSD is considered 5 of 7 credit bearing courses. Religious release does not count as a credit. *Activities sponsored by the Idaho High School Activities Association including but not limited to the following: Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Track and Field, Volleyball, Wrestling, Cheerleading, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Dance, Music, Debate, & Speech.
I understand that I must be off campus, in the cafeteria, or in the library during my unscheduled period(s).
