BOISE ONLINE SCHOOL 

The program serves K–12 students who prefer or need an alternative to traditional in-person schooling, offering a full curriculum taught by certified Boise District teachers. Through engaging online lessons, interactive coursework, and regular teacher support, students can progress at their own pace while meeting district and state academic standards.

Boise Online School offers 2 types of enrollment: 

1. Full Time Enrollment (Interactive Daily Learning): To enroll full time, the guardian must complete the BOS Enrollment Application.  

*Full Time Prospective Students: Complete the BOS Student Online Readiness Reflection Rubric.   

2.  Asynchronous = (Guided Self Paced Learning) : Students work independently through online curriculum following the teacher pacing guide. No live meetings are required. Classroom teachers are available for support/assistance by appointment and/or during office hours. Classes are offered each quarter of the school year (see course offerings below). Students can take 1 course each quarter, for a maximum of 4 courses per school year. 

   • Registration for Guided Self Paced Learning Courses: Students must talk to their Borah School Counselor who will register students for BOS Guided Self Paced Learning classes. Once registered, enrollment in BOS courses are based on space available. Students may be waitlisted or denied after they are registered. 

   • Students are responsible for checking their school email frequently for an enrollment email from Boise Online School.
