Day 1:
- LI: intro to our new topic: simultaneous equations
- Open the teaching videos (on the drop down menu of 3.15 equations) and watch the first two teaching videos
- Then open this slideshow and start working on slides 2 and 4.
- Open the worksheet at the top and do this in your book.
Day 3:
- Open the walkerbook under booklets (3.15 down drop) on page 7 and page 9. Check your answers with Whaea Mina.

- LI = solving simultaneous equation by elimination
- Watch the video and then do the work in Walkerbook on page 11 no. 1 - 10
Day 5:
- LI= solving simultaneous equations by substitution
- Watch the videos and then do the work in Walker book on page 9
Day 6:
- Starting with no. 9 on page 11 walkerbook using the substitution method.
- Do page 12 (walkerbook)Now choose and communicate your method.

- WATCH the 2 videos of Whaea mIna above.
- Only move to this day if you can do both substitution and elimination methods
- We are using this slideshow; work through this IF you want to get more than just achieved.
Day 9
Starter Page 18 no. 8 and 9 (walkerbook)
Then open teaching videos of this topic. Start watching video 3. You need to listen to them all to see the different ways of communication for the REST of the topic.
Don't waste your time!!
Day 10:
- Do this ONLY after you know you can do the Day 8 and Day 9 work!!
- LI= today you must write up 3 x 3 equations for the word problem and solve the problem
- Follow the 4 steps on the slide show. Listen to the video of whaea Mina talking through this
- Now do: Find the equations and solutions (on the calculator and algebraically ) on slides: 6 - 10 (answers on slide 10)
- then do : Walkerbook page 51. (walkerbook link is on day 8)
