day one:

• STARTER: COMPLETE THE WORKSHEET. (GET COPY FROM WHAEA MINA)
• Divide into groups of 2 or 3. You have 10 minutes to come up with as much FUN and normal facts about penguins (specifically the ones that we would find in Australia.
• open a google doc, name it your name, TS Learning and write up the facts/the research about penguins
• LI: how to make the 4 "graphs" of TS and then to write up the problem.
• You need to make the TS graphs for penguins using NZGrapher's data on penguins.
• Now write up a little bit of an introduction (using the facts that you found out) and then write the PROBLEM.

Day 3:

• LI: Research, PROBLEM & PLAN
• Open the video of Whaea Mina talking about Research and writing the problem and the plan
• now open your google doc, and do research on: Penguins (you already have 10 facts. Put these 10 facts into sentences and write it in a paragraph. Make sure that you have copied the websites where you got this INFO from..
• Now write up the PROBLEM and PLAN using this structure.

Day 5:

• LI: Predictions, how to write it up and then to conclude.
• Watch the video of Whaea mina talking about the last 3 parts of the ANALYSIS, and the conclusion.
• Now open the SUNGLASSES practise and write up the last 3 parts of ANALYSIS and do the conclusion.
