Unit 2
Approaches in Psychology (Learning approaches, Cognitive Approach, Biological Approach, Psychodynamic Approach and Humanistic Approach)
Biopsychology (Key biological structures and processes that underpin human behaviour)
Research Methods (Analysis of the types of research studied in psychology. Includes a 10% compulsory maths content of data analysis including inferential statistics and scientific processes)
Unit 3
Options (3 options from gender, relationships, cognition and development, stress, schizophrenia, eating behaviours, aggression, addiction, forensic psychology)
Issues and Debates in Psychology (Analyse, interpret and evaluate psychological theories, approaches and research studies)
All three A-Level exams are 2 hours each and are equally weighted at 33.3%
