Course Content

Studying Law gives students an understanding of the role of law in today's society and raises their awareness of the rights and responsibilities of individals.

Topics include:

• The nature of the law and english legal system

• Criminal Law

• Tort

• Either Law of Contract or Human Rights

Assessment

The course is 100% exam based and linear, meaning that students will sit all their exams at the end of year 13.

3x 2 hour examinations worth 33.3% each.

Examinations are a combinations of multiple choice, short and long answer questions.
