Grade 6 in Music GCSE
Music is constantly evolving; inspiring creativity and expression in a way that no other subject can. A Level Music is relevant and contemporary, offering you a chance to study a wide range of genres.
This dynamic qualification offers a logical progression from GCSE. Students will further enhance their knowledge and musical ability through the study of set works, composition and performance. They will be able to tailor the course to their own interests in several areas.
Essential Equipment
You must possess your own instrument at home on which to practise. You should purchase a Rhinegold AQA Music A Level Study Guide through the school.

Solo and/or ensemble performing as an instrumentalist or vocalist, and/or music production.
A 10 minute performance recorded in the last 3 months of the course.
Component 3: Composition
25% of final grade
