GCSE Grade 5 in Drama
GCSE Grade 5 in English
Course Features
This exciting course aims to develop your understanding and appreciation of theatre and drama, which can be used as powerful tools to understand the nature of human relationships and how and why people behave in the way they do. Students will analyse and evaluate performances, perform from dramatic texts and devise their own work in order to gain a varied understanding of dramatic forms and styles. Whilst the emphasis is very much on practical work, the whole course is supported by reflective work and a depth of academic understanding. The influence of major drama practitioners will be analysed and incorporated into practical work. Frequent visits to the theatre will also enable students to appreciate and understand the ways in which theatre works and attempts to make sense of the world.
