Louis
Louis attended Bohunt and Bohunt Sixthform graduating with our 2020 cohort. Louis studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ at A level. Louis always wanted to study Medicine and is currently living the dream in his final year of Medicine at the University of Leicester. In his words 'I chased my dream and continue to live it everyday. It has not been easy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way'
Saskia
Saskia began her studies at Bohunt and attended the Sixth Form between 2018 and 2020, where she studied Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and an Extended Project Qualification,
In 2020, Saskia attended Imperial College London to study Biological Sciences (BSc), completing her degree in 2024. As part of her programme, she undertook a competitive year‑long industry placement in Tokyo, Japan, at the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research. During this time, she contributed to research on glioblastoma—an aggressive form of brain cancer—focusing on the interactions between tumour cells and platelets.
Following her undergraduate studies, Saskia pursued an MPhil in Infection Biology and Molecular Immunology at the University of Cambridge (2024–2025). Saskia is set to continue her academic career at the University of Tokyo, where she will undertake a PhD in Medical Sciences from 2026 to 2029.
