What is Dual Enrollment?
Bergen Community College’s Dual Enrollment Program provides an opportunity for high school students to earn college credit by taking college-level courses at their high school. These courses are taught by high school teachers who meet college-level educational standards.
The dual enrollment program is available to high school students of junior and/or senior standing who have demonstrated academic readiness and have received the recommendation of their guidance counselor, school administrator, and parents.
Why take a Dual Enrolled class?

The admissions and registration process will now be online beginning on December 1, 2020 and will run until February 28, 2021. The Dual Enrollment registration process is a two-step process. Students will apply to the Dual Enrollment program online entering the required demographic information. Within 24 hours of submitting the application, students will receive an e-mail with their Bergen user name and password. Students will also be sent a link to an online registration form. Once the online portion of the form is completed, students will be required to print the form and have it signed by their parent and a guidance counselor from their high school. The signed form will then need to be uploaded to an online portal to complete the registration process.

Course requirements:
Students must meet minimum requirements of a 2.75 or higher cumulative g.p.a. and demonstrate the ability to successfully complete the course. Accordingly, admission to the Dual Enrollment Program is a selective process. It is important to note that grades earned through the Dual Enrollment Program are reflected on permanent academic records.
