On World Pulses Day, our Early Years Programme (EYP) learners celebrated by enjoying and sharing food made from pulses like lentils, beans, and chickpeas with their friends. They expressed their excitement about the nutritious foods and shared what they knew about the benefits of pulses. Embracing the IB philosophy, the students acted as inquirers and communicators, discussing how pulses help keep us healthy. It was a fun and meaningful day of community, learning, and healthy eating!

"A Memorable Graduation Day Celebration!"
Our Graduation Day celebration was a truly special and unforgettable event, as we celebrated the achievements of our Senior KG to Grade 1 students! Parents joined us for the festivities, where the Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG students took the stage to perform lively dances. Each group impressed everyone with their energetic performances, marking the end of an important chapter in their early education. To cap off the celebration, certificates were awarded to all graduates, recognizing their growth and achievements. It was a joyful day full of music, dance, pride, and lasting memories for both the children and their families!
"X-ray Exploration and Brush Painting: A Fun Journey with Letter X!"
In Nursery today, we had a X-tra exciting day learning about the letter X! First, the children created their very own X-ray by sticking sticks together to form an X and then made a handprint that looked like an X-ray. It was a fun way to see how the letter X can appear in the real world! Then, they got creative with brush painting, where they made big, bold X's. This combination of activities helped the students recognize the shape of the letter X while engaging their imagination. It was a day full of learning, creativity, and fun!

"Exploring Light and Shadow: A Fun STEM Adventure!"
In Lower KG, our learners embarked on an exciting STEM journey to understand the magic of light and shadow! They discovered how shadows are created when an object blocks light, forming a dark spot where the light can’t reach. To explore this concept further, Junior KG learners were taken outside under the sun to observe how shadows change throughout the day. Back in the classroom, they also had the opportunity to see shadows in action through hands-on demonstrations. It was a wonderful day of exploration and learning, where the children got to see firsthand how light and shadow work together in our world!

In our Lower KG literacy session, young learners became inquirers as they explored the world of rhyming words! Through fun and interactive activities, they discovered how words with similar ending sounds belong to the same word family, making it easier to recognize patterns in language. As communicators, the children confidently said rhyming words aloud, strengthening their vocabulary and phonemic awareness. This engaging experience not only built early literacy skills but also encouraged thinkers to make connections between sounds and words. Our U. KG learners explored the months of the year through a fun and creative activity! Using a tree as their canvas, they crafted a unique representation of the twelve months, making learning both visual and engaging. As they placed each month on the tree, they strengthened their writing skills while understanding the sequence of the year. This hands-on approach fostered curiosity and creativity, turning a simple lesson into an exciting learning experience!

"On Air Adventures: A Visit to MY FM Radio Station on World Radio Day"
On February 13th, in celebration of World Radio Day, students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 visited the MY FM radio station. During their visit, learners explored the equipment used in the studio and gained an understanding of how radio content is created. They learned about sound mixing and the different roles involved in radio production. The students also discovered the important role radio plays in connecting communities and sharing information. It was an exciting and educational experience that gave the children a deeper appreciation for the world of radio.

Our young learners embarked on a fascinating journey to discover how we experience the world using our five senses! Through an interactive sorting activity, they categorized objects like a ringing bell, a fragrant rose, and a soft cushion based on sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell. As thinkers and communicators, they explained their choices, deepening their understanding of how each sense helps us explore our surroundings. This hands-on experience not only sparked curiosity but also enhanced sensory awareness, making learning exciting and memorable!

Valentine’s Day at BMCS was a heartwarming celebration of love, creativity, and gratitude! All our learners participated with excitement, bringing beautiful decorative materials from home to craft special cards for their loved ones. They also made heartfelt cards for BMCS, expressing their love for their school. To deepen their understanding, they were shown why Valentine’s Day is celebrated, learning about the importance of love, kindness, and appreciation.
