At Bloom Psychiatry, our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health and substance use disorder care that honors the autonomy, dignity, and inherent worth of every person we serve.
We believe that all individuals have the right to engage in voluntary, person-centered treatment in the least restrictive setting, free from stigma, judgment, or unnecessary barriers. Guided by principles of harm reduction, recovery-oriented practice, and social justice, we strive to meet clients where they are—supporting their unique goals, values, and lived experiences.
Our approach is grounded in science and empathy, emphasizing collaboration, transparency, and respect for each client’s expertise in their own mind, body, and healing journey. We are committed to delivering ethical, individualized, and safe care that promotes empowerment, engagement, and sustained wellness.
Through advocacy, education, and innovative practice, Bloom Psychiatry seeks to advance access to equitable, evidence-based behavioral health services while fostering a culture of compassion and inclusion within our community.
At Bloom Psychiatry, we don’t define recovery for our clients—we walk beside them as they define it for themselves.
Recovery is possible! Each person has their own story to tell, and their own journey to work through it. Everyone deserves an individual approach to their treatment and care.
I am a certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in mental health and substance use issues. I treat children, adolescents and adults. I am passionate about mental health and substance use treatment through medication management. I am here to support my clients to live their best lives. I love to work with people moving towards recovery from opioid use disorder and enjoy providing treatment options to individuals with substance use issues to achieve their goals. I offer low barrier medication treatment for substance use disorders. The combination of therapy and medications provide an evidence-based treatment approach to mental health and wellness. I strive to find a treatment plan that works for you and fits your life and goals.
Therapy Influences: I use an eclectic approach to therapy often combining Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Trauma Informed Care and Radical Acceptance.
Open communication and trust are the cornerstones of a successful experience for my patients. There is no judgement on your choices, preferences, or activities outside of helping you define your goals and supporting your pursuit of them. I want to ensure you feel safe, respected, and autonomous in choosing what you share and how we proceed with treatment.
