#3 What project are you most excited about for the future?
A project for 8th grade. 3 dimensional pictures.
#4 What, in your opinion, is the most important part of art?
Being creative is the most important part.
#5 What are your three favorite reasons to teach art?
Sharing what you love with your students.
Seeing student creativity “ flow “ in the art room.
Seeing all of the art that the students create in the art show ( end of year ).
#6 What is your funniest story you have in your art room?
Something funny/interesting about the art room is that I have art work from former students hidden all around the room. Sometimes you won't notice unless you look closely. Some of the artwork is from students that are in, or have graduated from college! I MOSTLY remember who made each one.
#7 When you started teaching, what was your first project?
Elementary school - My first project was with 2nd graders. We made our own copies of “ The Very Hungry Caterpillar."
The talented WTB band members played in their Winter Concert! The concert included 5th Grade Band, Cadet Band, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Jazz Band. Great job Bobcats on your fabulous performance!
CONGRATULATIONS!
Andrew on piano accompanied Frankie in her performance of Telemann's Sonata in F major at the WTB Holiday Concert on Dec. 15th to an eruption of appreciation and cheers. Frankie auditioned the previous weekend with this solo at the all North Jersey Area Band and placed second out of top flute players from 38 school districts across Northern NJ. Not pictured, Nicole also auditioned for Area Band and took 2nd place in percussion!
