Security Personnel

Security Personnel:

In September 2003, school resource officers were introduced into Bloomfield High School and Bloomfield Middle School. Our school resource officers are full-time members of the Bloomfield Police Department and are assigned to our schools for the entire year. Additionally, the district contracts with a private security firm for additional unarmed personnel at both schools. We have a Head of Security position at Bloomfield High School. Having this position ensures that security is provided for both regular school hours as well as for special events.
