Police/Security Relationships:

The memorandum of agreement with local law enforcement covers areas such as undercover school operations, joint consultation, wellness checks as necessary, self-administration of medicines by students, and crime prevention. Under the agreement, police conduct active shooter drills at all of our schools. These drills familiarize staff and students with drill protocols and familiarize law enforcement with facilities and interior/exterior layouts. Over the years, strong, continuing relationships with members of the Bloomfield Police Department have led to partnerships in programs such as Police Trading Cards, DARE, Neighboring Policing, Junior Police Academy, and the Police Tip App (Tip 411.)
