Mrs. Erickson enjoyed meeting BES families on Back-to-School Night. It was held in the gym on the evening of September 10th. Copies of the  brochure featuring the updated library curriculum were available. Additional copies are available in the school's vestibule.

Kelly Durkin, the Branch Manager of the Warren County Library, visited the 6th graders during their library class. She gave a presentation on the databases available through the Warren County Library's website. Students were able to complete a scavenger hunt by answering questions using the Britannica Library Young Adults database for grades 6-8. 

Destiny Discover is our resource to access the library's collection. Students can search for printed titles, ebooks, audio books, and interactive ebooks. Account usernames and passwords were given to students in September. Students in grades 3-6 will practice logging in during library class using Clever.

Check the library class schedule here. Each student in grades 1-6 can check out 2 books per 6 day cycle. Preschool and kindergarten students can choose one book each cycle. If a student forgets to return their books, they can still check out one book. Please remember to return library books when they are due so others can enjoy them too!
