As we begin the last trimester of the school year, in library class K-6 students will be learning about digital citizenship. We are starting off by using Typing.com to practice our keyboarding skills. From there, we will delve into digital citizenship topics, which include: the importance of online safety, finding media balance, cyberbullying, strong passwords, and fake vs. real images.
Destiny Discover is our resource to access the library's collection. Students can search for printed titles, ebooks, audio books, and interactive ebooks. Account usernames and passwords were given to students in September. Students in grades 3-6 will practice logging in during library class using Clever.
Check the library class schedule here. Each student in grades 1-6 can check out 2 books per 6 day cycle. Preschool and kindergarten students can choose one book each cycle. If a student forgets to return their books, they can still check out one book. Please remember to return library books when they are due so others can enjoy them too!
