Responsible Use Policy

This policy states the school expectations for the responsible use of devices in school.

We would like every parent to read this policy at home with their child and ensure they understand and follow each point. We also request that each student and one of their parents’ signs the copy and returns it to school.

• I understand that my device is my responsibility

• I will use my device safely and appropriately and think carefully about any of the uploaded content

• I will charge my device battery every night and bring it into school every day

• I will not attempt to gain unauthorised access to another persons’ device in any way

• I will ask for permission prior to photographing, recording people and sharing information

• I will not access, create or download inappropriate, explicit, offensive or illegal material

• I will only use educationally relevant materials during lesson time

• I understand that having a positive and balanced relationship with technology supports my wellbeing.
