The History of fireworks

Some people don't know the history of fireworks well. Between 600 and 900 A.D. a Chinese alchemist was hoping to create an elixir that gave people immortality. He added together saltpeter (potassium nitrate, then a common kitchen seasoning), charcoal, sulfur and other ingredients, and made gunpowder. Then the Chinese put gunpowder into bamboo and lit it with fire, and that's when the first firework ever was created. If they like the big breaks, Big Time, Hunter and Medora nights are all favorites. If they like ones that last a little longer people like the Exploding Rainbow and Dominator!" quote by David Reuter
