How do you get ready for summer?
How do you get ready for summer? Do you reorganize? Do you go shopping and get new clothes? Lyd Symens, an 8th grader, interviewed 18 students who attend Horizon Middle School and asked them what they do to get ready for summer! Reece Turner, a 7th grader here at horizon, said, “ I go summer shopping and get new swimming suits. I also do this thing with my bed where when it's winter its by the wall and in summer it's by the window." This is only one of the ways that you can organize and get ready for summer. Most of the other students we interviewed said that they don't do anything specific and just transition to the next day like normal. However another response that stood out was Adriana Thei's, a 6th grader here at Horizon. She said, “ we normally summer clean or rearrange my room, and for something fun to kick it off we go fishing." So my question for you is how do you get ready for summer?

Do you reorganize in your household before summer? Tiki Miller a 8th grader, asked 266 students that exact question. As you can see in the chart above, 56.8% said yes they do reorganize and 43.2% said no they don't recognize their home.

Do you go shopping for new clothes for summer? Tiki Miller a 8th grader asked 266 students that exact question also. As you can see in the chart above, 76.3% said they do go summer shopping and 23.7% said no they don't go summer shopping.

Scheels, American Eagle, and Pacsun were the stores that were said to be the most worn when Tiki Miller surveyed 266 students. These stores were picked because there were a lot of people that said they go shopping for summer clothes there.
