Coach Doan is entering his 8th year as the Head Coach of the Century Girls track team, and 10th season of coaching track & field. A former Century High School graduate, Coach Doan was a 2nd team All-State selection for the football team and competed in the Long Jump and Pole Vault for the Patriots. He continued his football career and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Mary. Coach Doan teaches physical education at Century and lives in Bismarck with his wife Jill and three children Archer, Brooks, and Charlie.

A Wing Native, Coach Fox was an 8x State placer for Southern McLean. After her high school career, she went on to run for the University of Mary placing 3x at the NSIC Championships. Coach Fox is in her 3rd season coaching track & field for the Patriots and also teaches Math at Century High School.

Coach Perez is currently in his 8th year as the hurdles coach, and 10th season overall. He was previously the head track & field coach at Richland for three years before moving back to Bismarck. Coach Perez is a former Patriot and was a State Qualifier in the 110 hurdles, Long Jump, and 100m Dash. He currently works for Bartlett & West and resides in Bismarck.

This is Coach Schulte’s 10th season at Century. She is a 2005 graduate of Century High School, the current 100m hurdle record holder and a two-time State Champion in the pole vault. She was also a part of the 2005 State Champion track and field team. After high school, she was a student-athlete at the University of North Dakota from 2005-2009. During her collegiate career, she earned four conference titles, was a team captain for 2 years and was named Track & Field MVP in 2008 and 2009. In 2008, she earned two NCAA Division II All-American awards in the pole vault. The same year she was named to the USTFCCCA Women's All-Academic Track and Field Team, the NCC Commissioner's Academic Indoor Track and Field Honor Roll and the NCC Commissioner's Academic Outdoor Track and Field Honor Roll. She later served as the interim Head Women's and Men's Track and Field Coach at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. In addition, she is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Coach Miller is in his 20th year of coaching track and field at Century High School and 10th year of leading the boys track & field team. During this time, CHS has won 6 state titles. Prior to coaching at Century, Coach Miller was a student-athlete at Century, graduating in 2006. He placed 4th at State in the discus that year. After high school, he graduated from the University of Mary with majors in physical education and elementary education. He is currently an elementary physical education teacher in BPS. He is also an assistant coach on the football team for Century.

Coach Murphy is in his 8th year of being an assistant throws coach for Century High School track and field. Prior to coaching at Century, Coach Murphy graduated from Century in 2013 where he was a 2-time state qualifier in shot put and placed 4th his senior year. After high school, Coach Murphy was a 4-year starter at the University of Jamestown as an offensive lineman from 2014-2017, where he graduated with a secondary-education History degree. He is currently employed at Horizon Middle School as a Social Studies teacher.

Coach Schaffer is currently in his 6th year of coaching for the Patriots. He was a state placer in both the pole vault and the javelin during his high school career as a Patriot and helped the boys win back to back team titles in 2018 & 2019.

Coach Walker coached football for 28 years, wrestling for 15 years, and track; specifically the throwers, for 13 years at Killdeer High School. He was the head track coach for five years. He retired from teaching in 2012. Then he and his wife moved to Grand Forks. While there, he coached the throwers in Hillsboro-Central Valley for six years. They moved to Bismarck in 2018. He’s been the assistant throws coach at Century for the past 7 years.

Coach Yokom is a Fargo, ND Native and graduated from Fargo North in 2021. He was a State Qualifier in both the 1600 and 3200 and helped lead his team to a 2nd place finish in the 4x800m Relay in 2019. Coach Yokom went on to continue his running and educational career at the University of Mary. Coach Yokom also teaches Math at Century High School.

Coach Rockey is another former Patriot and was the Powerade Athlete of the Year in 2018. He won back-to-back state titles in the Shot Put and the Discus. After his high school career, he went on to compete for the Bison and was a 5-time placer in the Outdoor Summit League Championships. He currently works at Bobcat and lives in Bismarck with his wife Allie.

Coach Weisz is a graduate of Century High School and played both football and ran Track & Field for the Patriots. He helped lead Century to a State Championship in the 4x400m Relay as a senior and was a High School All-American in the Swedish Relay (100-200-300-400) at New Balance Nationals. He currently works for Sanford Power as a Strength & Conditioning Coach and resides in Bismarck with his wife Maria and daughter Bentley.
