Student will examine the text “Space Exploration Should Be More…” for claim, supporting evidence, counter arguments, and logical fallacies using an anchor chart and WITM’s strategies and will discover words with the root “phil”& do a communal reading with structure and purpose.
Students will analyze the title as we read a book of their choice using SIR questions, One Pager, or Informative Text Graphic Organizer.

Students will identify independent events and replacement in events of probability and will SOLVE problems pertaining to experimental and theoretical probability of simple and compound events and inferences using a quiz.
Students will continue probability in simple and compound events using Maze Activity.

Students will evaluate our knowledge of translations, reflections, rotations, and dilations using mixed practice
Students will examine the Pythagorean Theorem, specifically the hypotenuse. They will continue applying Pythagorean Theorem solving equations and demonstrating skills on a coordinate plane.

Students will also simplify Radicals with numerical values and assess factoring, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing polynomials with a Unit 6 Test at the end of the week
