Students will identify and practice the constant of proportionality “K” in a table. The will continue to practice identifying proportional relationships in graphs, tables, verbal descriptions and equations using real-world situations.

At the end of the week student will solve different representations of Proportional Relationship problems using a quiz.

Student are applying knowledge and understanding of slope and y intercept, y=Mx+b to graph lines and make tables as they work on the Stain Glass Project.

Monday: 8th grade TEKS "reinforcement" - Proportional and Nonproportional Relationships (students are struggling writing equations and inequalities from graphs, or graphing from equations and inequalities - this lesson practiced both of these things)

Tuesday: Mid-Unit Test (Unit 4 Application of Linear Functions)

Wednesday: Additional practice writing and graphing equations and inequalities

Thursday: Rewriting equations from standard to slope-intercept and back (reinforcement of previously taught lesson)

Friday: Writing equations in point-slope form given slope and one point or two points (reinforcing prior teaching)
