Daily Take Home Folder Calendar

This calendar is in your child's daily take-home folder. Every day your child will bring this folder home. It will contain graded papers from your child's teacher, important informational papers, as well as critical papers that will need to be signed and returned back to school. Please review your child's folder every day. Below is a picture of our behavior chart. Please know that a 4 is a rock solid day. If they get a 5 it means they had to be given several reminders throughout the day and it was a distraction for other students and a 6 means it was constant behavior reminders and they struggled to improve throughout the day.

How you can support your child at home?

There are a variety of ways you can help your child at home! Help your student identify and write upper and lowercase letters. Read aloud to them and ask questions. Play word related games such as; " I'm going to eat something on this table that starts with the letter B". You can also play rhyming games in the car! Allow your child to retell you a story that they heard or act it out. This is just a few of the many ways to support your child outside of the classroom. We have also place an OPTIONAL skills reinforcement calendar in your child's daily folder. For additional ideas feel free to reach out to your child's teacher!

Helpful Websites for Academic Games

Students have access to their teacher's page by using CLEVER.  On this page, you will find the academic sites we use in the classroom. At school students are able to log in by using their clever badge, but they can also log in through their school email. If you would like a copy of their badge or school email, pelase reach out their their teacher.
