As we prepare for the upcoming school year, all student Chromebooks will remain at school over the summer so our technology team can complete updates, maintenance, and any needed repairs to ensure devices are ready for students in August.

Please make sure your child returns both their Chromebook and charger to school by the end of the year.

*All teachers are highly qualifed and meet state licensing requirements at Norwood Environmental Science Academy for the 2025-2026 School year.  All paraprofessionals have completed required trainings. 

Texas law requires students who do not achieve approaches or higher on STAAR grades 3–5 be provided accelerated instruction. If your child is receiving accelerated instruction, we will be utilizing iXL as a supplemental curriculum to help with targeted instruction.
