Our carline is moving pretty quick these days, both in the morning and afternoon. Please make sure students are picked up by 3:30 at the latest.
As always, if you're needing to make a change to how your student is getting home, please contact the front office. On occasion, teacher's may be out, or might miss a message from you. Therefore, it's best to let the office staff know so that we can make sure all parties are communicated with and your student gets home safely.

As the school year starts to wind down, I would like to take this time to let all of our area elementary schools know that we are now taking applications for the 2024 Burleson Fire/EMS Junior Fire Academy! Please note the following rules for applying:
The program is only open to students who will be entering the 5th grade in August of next school year.
Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and the spaces are limited.
A submitted application is not a guaranteed spot in the summer program, you must have a confirmation email.
Depending on the amount of applications, we may hold additional academies this summer.
There will be two sessions, June 3rd through June 6th and June 17th through June 20th

Girls Flag Football Opportunity!🏈
We are thrilled to announce the organization of a second Flag Football event designed for girls of all grades, from K-12, to be held at the BHS stadium on Saturday, May 18th.
Our primary objective is to offer a secure and enjoyable setting where girls can acquire new skills, boost their confidence, and forge connections with peers who share their enthusiasm for athletics. Flag Football serves as an ideal avenue to introduce girls to the realm of sports, facilitating the development of teamwork, leadership, and perseverance, all while ensuring they have a blast and remain physically active.
This event is entirely free and welcomes participants of varying skill levels and backgrounds. Our coaching team comprises seasoned professionals dedicated to cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment for every attendee.
To accommodate our diverse audience, we have scheduled two sessions:
Morning Session: 8:30-10:00 AM for grades K-5
Afternoon Session: 11:00 AM-1:00 PM for grades 6-12

Just a reminder, the tardy bell rings at 7:40am.
Please call the front office if your student is going to be out sick to let us know.
We'd be happy to help anyway we can if you're needing assistance with transportation to school. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
Please bring a copy of a doctor's note if your student is out three or more consecutive days so that we can ensure the absences are excused.
